We recently launched the first cohort of our Leadership Academy, a 9-month employee development program for new and aspiring leaders. The Leadership Academy provides individual contributors with leadership potential with an opportunity to develop new skills, connect with their peers, and lay the groundwork for a successful leadership career .
We kicked things off with an in-person Learning Intensive in Hartford, CT last month. Over the course of the weeklong event, we took a deep dive into the participants’ personal leadership styles and equipped them to take an active role in their own professional development. We also heard from seasoned leaders, who shared important lessons they learned throughout their leadership journey.
“This training really helped me gain some perspectives and tools for moving forward on our continuous improvement path,” said Maxime Gagnon, one of the attendees from Harbour Industries Canada. “The hands-on approach led us to discuss real issues and talk through ideas and solutions.”
Now, we’re building off the momentum of the weeklong Learning Intensive with monthly Leadership Academy meetings, where participants receive additional training, engage in peer-mentoring, and share the successes and challenges they experience along the way.
