The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is an advanced 8-week course designed to equip experienced Lean practitioners with the skills to identify and eliminate waste caused by variation. The course primarily focuses on the DMAIC problem-solving methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), providing participants with the tools to make data-driven decisions, reduce process variation, and drive substantial improvements.
To earn Black Belt certification, students must complete a real-world project, with 6 hours of personal mentoring included to guide project development. Access to SigmaXL statistical analysis software (Excel add-in) is required for completing statistical tasks.
